Busy, Busy, Busy!

I got questioned the other day by someone who reads my blog. She wanted to know where I've been. Busy, I said. I'm in the middle of writing a book, and working on several other story ideas as well, so my time to post has suffered. In my spare time I've been playing on You Tube. Here's a little taste of what I've been watching.

These videos are from the Concert for George, at the Royal Albert Hall.

P.S. Say a prayer for me. I'm thinking of taking a new (different) job at the factory where I currently work. I've got my mind about 90% made up, now comes the part where I convince myself that I should 'go for it.' Ain't self doubt a killer? Anyway, thanks for playing along, and I'll see you all for Wordless Wednesday.

Back-2-Back Champions

The experts said they couldn't do it without a healthy Candice Parker. Guess what, they went and did it anyway. Know what? If you don't roll with the Lady Vols...you get rolled over!

So how do we celebrate? We sing Rocky Top, what else.

And now a few words from the boss...

Five Down, One to Go

Tennessee 47 - LSU 46

Alexis Hornbuckle only scored 2 points last night, but they mattered the most. She put back a missed shot by Nicky Anosicke with 0.7 seconds left to give the Lady Vols the win. Next up for Tennessee...Stanford and an 8th national title. At least that's how I hope it turns out.

The game wasn't pretty, not by a long shot. But a win is a win, and I'll take it!
